We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optical Associate/Optician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of optical products and services. You will play a crucial role in helping patients select the right eyewear and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. This position requires both technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and assist them in achieving optimal vision.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in optometry/opticals is required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
• Provide expert advice on lens options, frame styles, and fitting adjustments.
• Conduct measurements for eyeglasses.
• Maintain an organized display of optical products and ensure inventory levels are adequate.
• Perform repairs on eyewear.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.
• Assist with contact lens queries and teaches (soft, rigid, scleral)
• Handle sales transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance.
