Tasks Your responsibilities: Provide advanced optical engineering expertise for development projects. Perform laboratory optical measurement using existing setups, prepare documentation and report. Design, test and validate new optical setups for optical measurements. Contribute on the design and development of prototypes and engineering samples. Provide detailed cost and schedule estimates for assigned tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and integrate optical solutions into new product developments. Requirements Your qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent in Optical Engineering or a related technical discipline Minimum of 2+ years of industry experience in optical engineering or a closely related field. Experience in imaging optical design and optical setup assembly. Experience with optical simulation and tolerance analysis with Zemax. CAD design software knowledge is a plus. A successful candidate needs to be flexible, receptive to ideas from others, team oriented, and willing to work with scientists, engineers, and others to continue pushing the technology envelop from varied technical backgrounds. Expect this work to include interfacing with cross-functional teams responsible for designing and producing exciting new display technologies (i.e. electronics and mechanics).
