Our team produces high-performance optical components and coatings that enable precision targeting and durability in the harshest environments. ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an Optician 1- (HSPP). These operators will play a key role in expanding capacity on both existing and new equipment, ensuring production goals are met with precision and efficiency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * 1+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing environment * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards * Basic computer skills for data entry and process documentation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Experience with High-Speed Polishing Processes (HSPP) * Familiarity with precision optical components and coatings * Previous experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate and maintain high-speed polishing equipment for optical components * Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards * Perform inspections and measurements to verify component accuracy * Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and optimize processes * Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used For California, the hourly pay range for this position is $16.07–$27.48.
