Description Optician (Full-Time, Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) Milwaukee Eye Care Associates, S.C. is seeking a highly motivated, friendly, and energetic Optician to join our patient-first team. What You’ll Do Guide patients in frame selection and lens options; present solutions with confidence and clarity Take accurate measurements, fit and adjust eyewear, and perform minor repairs Order frames, lenses, and contact lenses; track orders and ensure on-time delivery Teach contact lens insertion and removal and provide product care education Verify benefits and process orders with major vision insurance plans and Medicare Maintain merchandising standards and support inventory management Collaborate with doctors and the optical team to ensure an exceptional patient experience What You Bring Optical sales experience with a service-driven mindset Working knowledge of lens technologies (materials, designs, coatings) Skill in frame styling, adjustments, and minor repairs Familiarity with major Vision Insurance Plans and Medicare workflows Professional appearance, excellent communication, and strong interpersonal skills Comfortable using computers/EMR/POS systems and learning new software ABO certification a plus; bilingual skills a plus Schedule & Pay Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (no evenings/weekends) Status: Full-time, non-exempt Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Benefits We offer a comprehensive package including Medical (HSA & PPO), Dental, Vision, HRA, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Life Insurance, and Short-Term Disability.
