Optician needed for mobile vision company to start immediately. We are looking for an energetic, dependable, flexible, and self-motivated person who has the ability to multitask and works well with senior citizens, to join our team. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities will include driving to the day’s location (paid mileage) 3 days per week and working in the office 2 days per week, loading and unloading supplies and equipment, setting up and breaking down equipment, infection control, helping the doctor with any needs, and other tasks related to patient exams and fittings.
We are a mission based company providing services to the underserved populations in Michigan. Services are provided in a different location on a daily basis such as a nursing home.
This is a M-F, 5 days a week position and must be willing to commute West Michigan area and to the UP and Traverse City area a few times a year.
The right candidate will have dependable transportation, good work ethic, be punctual, a good communicator, and must be very organized. One year experience required.
A background check and fingerprinting required upon hiring.
