Summit Eyecare Centre is looking for a full-time optician/optical assistant immediately at our busy, professional eye care clinic. We are a caring, patient-focused work family and have been serving Kamloops since 1988. We are expanding and looking for more staff members to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION INCLUDES:

-educating patients on vision correction options
-frame selection, fitting, repair and dispensing of eyewear
-edging of lenses into frames and ordering of materials
-collecting payment and submitting direct billing insurance claims
We offer a competitive starting wage (negotiable with relevant experience and licensed optician designation). We also offer an employee health benefit package, work clothing allowance and free parking.
Optical experience is preferred but we are happy to train the right candidate.
This position will be a 40 hour work week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday so you must be available to work on Saturday as well.
