We are looking for a licensed optician/student optician or an individual with experience dispensing eyewear (ie. Certified Optometric Assistant). We aspire to grow our team by adding a dedicated, enthusiastic individual who is a fast learner, demonstrates excellent communication skills and a passion for providing superb patient care.
We are a busy optical with a large patient base and have an optometrist on site 5 days a week
Primary Responsibilities and Duties: will include but not be limited to
· Dispensing eyeglasses - making the appropriate lens recommendations, frame selection, neutralizing eyewear, fitting/adjusting eyewear
· Fitting Contact Lenses
· General reception duties (as needed) including scheduling appointments, invoicing, insurance submission, answering phones calls/emails, taking payments, etc.
· Staying current on product knowledge and fashion trends in order to accurately guide the patient
· Miscellaneous in-office duties as assigned
