EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:

  • Experience in multiple different methodologies including project management, agile, change methodologies with actual implementation experience (not just advisory).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff to convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work, both on an individual basis, within set timelines and in an environment of change and conflicting demands.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision once tasks are allocated and understood.
  • Ability to solve problems through discussion, negotiation and teamwork.
  • Ability to gain co-operation and assistance from other staff.
  • Design Thinking training or experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach change across the full lifecycle—from analysis and planning through to delivery and adoption (inc enterprise-scale change)
  • Provide strategic and hands-on OCM guidance across both BAU and major project environments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce or information technology.
  • Experience in project management or service design will be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

As a Change Manager at Yarra Trams, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to simplify and optimise internal business processes. You’ll play a key role in designing the future state business model and leading the change to achieve it. This includes applying change management strategies, service design and design thinking principles, and engaging stakeholders to influence outcomes. You’ll also collaborate with business analysts and project teams to ensure all solutions are human-centred and aligned with organisational goals. This exciting new role forms part of a small team of change agents, working at a senior level with high visibility.
