Looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual, looking to join an established practice that values patient care and customer experience, in a part-time casual position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and obtaining medical history
- Maintain electronic medical records u
- Provide support at the front desk, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
- Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Assist with frame selection and sales in the optical department
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and optical displays
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical office or retail sales environment preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and optometric procedures
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
