OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional patient care and support within our optometry practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical office operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients with their vision needs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Pretesting (NCT/ IOP/ OCT)
- Frame Adjustments
- Processing, faxing and photocopying forms
- Providing administrative support
- Answering telephones
- Scheduling appointments/ coordinating with doctor’s schedules
- Data entry/computer work
- File Management (paper and electronic)
The potential candidate should have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as teamwork and problem solving skills.
Previous experience is an asset. Training will be provided on our systems and procedures.
Pay will be based on previous experience and skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
