REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous medical office experience is preferred but not mandatory, particularly in an optometry setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is advantageous
  • Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills.
  • Experience in front desk operations within a healthcare or retail environment is beneficial.
  • Understanding of medical terminology relevant to eye care practices is preferred.

  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient visits, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and guiding patients through their appointments.
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and processing payments/insurance.
