Innisfail Eyecare Centre is looking for a team oriented, Optometric Assistant to add to our growing clinic.

Job description:

The successful candidate will work with team members to maintain our excellent customer service reputation. Duties included in this position:

• Preliminary testing of patients
• Dispensing of prescription glasses
• Administrative duties
• Appointment scheduling and confirming
• Offering support to Doctors and Opticians as needed

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to change
• Willingness to learn software and equipment required for job success
• Comfortable with working on foot
• Critical thinking skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Previous experience is an asset, however we are willing to train the right candidate.

*Must have valid Canadian work permit
* Must provide own transportation to and from work
