ESSENTIAL ABILITIES & MOTIVATORS:
- Outgoing, caring personality who enjoys helping the doctor see patients to help them look their best and see clearly
- Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
- Ability to interact and work well with patients of all ages
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize based on urgency
- Proficient computer skills is essential, including knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Front desk or customer service experience in a medical office or optical setting is desirable
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and eye anatomy is beneficial
EDUCATION:
- College or University education (preferred)
EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years experience preferred in an optical and/or an optometry clinic but open to train the right motivated potential new team member
