Optometric Assistant

Busy Optometry Clinic in Surrey is looking for a full-time Optometric Assistant.
We are looking for someone to come in and work any aspect of a clinic. As well as working in the Optical Lab, the candidate will also be required to work at the front desk when need be, and pretest patients.
Experience in an optical clinic in Canada is mandatory.
The candidate is someone who is able to work on their own, complete all tasks in a timely manner, able to solve optical problems. Front desk duties such as booking appointments, calling patients, and sending referral letters is part of the job, as well as pre testing patients before they see the doctor. The candidate must be able to work closely with the other employees in the clinic and step in where need be. Candidate will be handling orders of frames and lenses, but also inventory. candidate must be willing to learn. Experience with using I File software is a bonus.
English is mandatory; speaking Punjabi is a bonus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
