How would you like to join a well-established optometry practice, with a team that feels like family? We are seeking a driven and motivated Optometric Assistant, with a main focus of pre-testing and administration duties.

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday - Friday, evenings required
  • No weekends
    We are seeking someone who is outgoing and personable. Previous experience in vision health and understanding of the optical industry.

Schedule:

  • 8-9 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift (7:00 PM twice a week)

Office hours:
Monday: 8:30 AM-7:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:30 AM-7:00 PM
Thursday: 8:30 AM-7:00 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM-4:00 PM
Experience:
Optical: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Creating a memorable experience for patients while helping them choose new eyewear and lenses based on doctor recommendations
  • Ability to learn and grasp new products and technology
  • Working alongside our team to ensure that the patient visit is exceptional and seamless while managing gallery flow and adjusting eyewear
  • Perform duties and optical dispensing as well as demonstrating eagerness and creativity to enhance the eye care services
  • Administrative tasks; including greeting patients at check-in, booking appointments, pre-testing patients, answering phone calls and email inquiries, in a courteous and friendly manner
