FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Lowy & Sewell Eyecare is looking for a new employee to join our dynamic team. The right candidate must be friendly, outgoing, self-motivated, and able to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. The position will include working directly with patients to perform preliminary tests prior to their eye examination.
Previous optometric experience is preferred.

• Preliminary screening tests with patients
• Teach new contact lens wearers how to insert and remove contact lenses
• Educating patients on eye health-related issues
• Checking patients in and out for their appointments. This involves verifying patient/ appointment details, taking payment and submitting insurance claims, and scheduling future appointments
• Responding to patient’s inquiries in person, over the phone, and by email
• Coordinating specialist referrals
• Data-entry
• Provide top-notch, stellar service to our patients
• Work with other team members to ensure all patients receive exceptional service throughout their appointment experience
• Innovate and share best practices with your colleagues
  Schedule: 8 hour shift, Weekend availability
  Experience: office work or related work for 2 years
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
