QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing visual problems
• Ability to prescribe, fit, and recommend eyeglasses or contact lenses based on individual patient needs
• Proven track record of achieving strong conversion rates and helping drive practice profitability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and team members effectively
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for accurate diagnoses and personalized care
• Knowledge of the latest trends and advancements in optometry and a commitment to continuous professional development
• Bachelor of Optometry degree (or equivalent) and valid registration with relevant UK licensing bodies
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how the Optometrist role contributes to a thriving, profitable practice

This is a full-time, on-site Optometrist role located in the Oldham Area, United Kingdom. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting thorough eye examinations, diagnosing and managing visual problems, prescribing eyeglasses or contact lenses, and providing personalized advice on visual health and eyewear options. A key aspect of the role is understanding the importance of the Optometrist’s contribution to a profitable practice, including effective recommendations and maintaining a strong conversion rate. The Optometrist will work closely with our highly qualified team to ensure excellent patient care and practice growth.
