We are looking to employ an energetic and friendly optometrist at the Insight Medical Centre in Hamilton, ON. This is a new practice and we are looking to add another member to work part-time in collaboration with an ophthalmologist. This is a great opportunity to gain further experience in cataract, glaucoma, cornea and medical retina management under the guidance of a fellowship trained ophthalmologist.

We have the latest diagnostic technology including:

• Anterior/ Posterior Segment OCT
• Autorefraction/ keratometry
• Non-contact Tonometry/ Tonopen/ I-Care/ Goldman Applanation Tonometry
• Visual field
• Topography/ Tomography
• Optical Biometry
• A-scan and B-scan Ultrasound

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing lasers or eye surgeries
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems
