Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and personable Optometrist to join our team, providing care approximately 3.5 days per week across our Los Gatos, San Jose, and Cupertino offices. Each location includes a full-service optical dispensary supported by experienced opticians. Position Overview The ideal candidate will be professional, energetic, and patient-focused, with the ability to build long-term relationships within a high-volume, team-based setting. You will work closely with our ophthalmologists and clinical staff to provide coordinated, high-quality care. Primary Responsibilities Perform comprehensive eye examinations within the full scope of optometric licensure Interpret diagnostic testing and communicate results in a timely and effective manner Co-manage patients in collaboration with our glaucoma, cataract, oculoplastics, and general ophthalmologists, in accordance with California state law and practice by-laws Provide specialty contact lens fittings, myopia management and follow-up care Accurately document all patient encounters in the electronic medical record Bill for services rendered in compliance with applicable laws and regulations Educate patients on optical products and benefits, and assist in guiding them to the optical dispensary as needed What We Offer Competitive compensation Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and 401(k) A collegial, fast-paced, and professional work environment with opportunities for growth
