Description A newly developing multi-specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center in Camp Hill, PA, is seeking experienced Operating Room Nurses. The Operating Room Nurse will coordinate and provide patient care, in accordance to established and accepted standards of care, policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, and accepted accreditation standards. The Operating Room Nurse will promote a positive reflection of the center to physicians, patients, and visitors. **************We are looking for EXPERIENCED OR Circulators******************* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supervises and assists with the safe and proper care and positioning of the patient Checks room for needed supplies and prepares room for specific patient and procedures Ability to scrub preferred Directs proper care of instruments, supplies, sterilization, and storage of equipment Controls the general “tone” of the operating room. Scrub, gowns, and gloves members of surgical team following aseptic techniques. Maintains sterile field throughout the surgical procedure. Functions in the role of second assistant following successful skills demonstration, as needed EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: The Operating Room Nurse must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the surgical suite setting; an active, unrestricted RN license in the state of Pennsylvania; and BLS certification and ACLS preferred. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently as well as function within a team; have the ability to assess patient needs, determine priorities, plan and direct care of the patient within the operative suite; present good public relation skills; and possess the ability to handle stress. WORK SCHEDULE We offer Monday – Friday all day shift with no weekends, holidays, or on call.
