Opportunity Overview We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Rockville, Maryland. * Schedule: Every other Saturday and Sunday; between 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM * Compensation: $38 to $46 per hour (commensurate with experience) This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day. In this role, the OR/PACU RN will: * Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans * Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery * Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members * Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation * Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed * Provide patient education What You’ll Bring We’re looking for professionals who bring both technical skill and a deep sense of responsibility to the care experience—individuals who thrive in environments where excellence, empathy, and accountability matter. Qualifications and Skills Include: * Active RN license * Current BLS and ACLS certification * 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred * Strong technical and clinical assessment skills * Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer * Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment * Ability to communicate accurately and concisely More important than any single credential, however, is the right person.
