We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Circulator RN to join our surgical team. In this critical role, you will serve as the patient's advocate throughout the surgical experience, ensuring safety, efficiency, and outstanding care from admission through recovery. WHY JOIN COASTAL ORTHOPEDICS? ✔ Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package ✔ Collaborative and supportive surgical team ✔ State-of-the-art orthopedic surgery environment ✔ Meaningful work that helps patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life ✔ Predictable schedule that promotes work-life balance ✔ No weekends, nights, or major holidays ✔ Opportunity to grow your career with a respected leader in orthopedic care WHAT YOU'LL DO * Coordinate and manage patient care throughout the surgical procedure * Prepare patients for surgery, including proper positioning, site verification, and ensuring all required consents are complete and accurate * Maintain a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment * Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to promote seamless patient care and optimal surgical outcomes * Monitor and document all aspects of the procedure, including medications, patient status, and intraoperative events * Assess patients throughout the perioperative process and monitor for changes in condition * Provide post-operative assessments and assist with recovery care as needed * Respond effectively during post-operative emergencies and critical situations * Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring comfort, safety, and compassionate care at every stage * Manage surgical supplies, instruments, medications, and equipment to support efficient operations * Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license * Current BLS and ACLS certifications * Strong clinical competency in acute patient care * Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery setting * Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills * Ability to obtain relevant patient history and provide clear pre-operative and post-operative education * Advanced knowledge of perioperative nursing practices and patient safety standards * Critical care nursing knowledge and experience preferred * Previous ambulatory surgery center (ASC) or operating room experience preferred JOIN A TEAM THAT VALUES EXCELLENCE If you're passionate about perioperative nursing, thrive in a collaborative surgical environment, and want to make a lasting impact on patients' lives, we invite you to apply today.
