Description

The O.R. Technician will assist surgeons with draping the patient and maintaining principles of aseptic technique and instrumentation and supplies required to execute a safe and expedient surgical procedure. Qualifications Candidates must have: • HS Diploma/GED • Graduation from Operating Room Technician Program or equivalent • Certification as Surgical Technician • 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician or demonstrated ability to perform operative case scrub experience • BLS Certification

Responsibilities

The OR Technician assists surgeons with patient draping and maintains aseptic techniques. They are responsible for managing the instrumentation and supplies necessary for safe and efficient surgical procedures.
