JOB DESCRIPTION

The Oracle Cloud EPM Architect will be responsible for understanding how our organization operates and leverages its financial systems. This role will involve making recommendations on how to utilize the out-of-the-box functionality of Oracle EPM systems to remove complexity, minimize the support levels required, and add transparency and structure for stakeholders. The Oracle EPM Lead Architect will collaborate with the team and stakeholders to develop and implement these recommendations, ensuring that our systems are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, this position will continue to support, train, and enhance the systems, as well as maintain and support the existing infrastructure.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 years in corporate finance (budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, reporting).
  • 7 years in enterprise-level analytics.
  • 5 years in EPM & planning systems (architecture/development).
  • 5 years designing and governing system architecture.
  • 5 years in FP&A leadership.
  • 5 years in healthcare industry and medical claims/billing (RCM).
  • 1 year in sales with demonstrated success.
  • 1 year in Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
  • Oracle EPM: Planning, Essbase cubes, scripting, financial reporting, data management (ETL).
  • Knowledge of BSO/ASO cubes, business rules, data maps, EPM Automate, data forms, Smart View.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, translating technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
  • Architect, design, and implement Oracle EPM solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and support for development teams and business stakeholders.
  • Optimize and support existing EPM solutions and processes.
  • Manage end-to-end data integration between EPM and other enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Conduct research and prototype new tools and solutions.
  • Maintain live technical documentation.
  • Implement long-range planning (LRP) with interactive, multi-scenario capabilities.
  • Promote the use of built-in EPM functionalities to scale and simplify solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional technical specifications.
  • Stay current on Oracle EPM technologies and industry best practices.
  • Deliver incremental value through bi-weekly Agile sprints and participate in Scrum activities.
  • Log progress and updates using ServiceNow.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
