REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of experience architecting complex IT solutions, including virtualization
• 9+ years of experience with Oracle software and hardware platforms
• 4+ years of experience with third-party hosting and managed services
• 4+ years of experience in Cloud PaaS strategy and implementation for mid- or large-sized organizations (private/public cloud)
• Experience conducting application suitability assessments and designing cloud architectures for global scale and high availability
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial cloud platforms
• Experience with enterprise IT systems using virtualization or private cloud technologies (e.g., VMware, Xen, OpenStack, Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with modern development and testing practices, such as continuous delivery and integration
• Background in software development and configuration management
• Understanding of API management solutions and their role in enterprise cloud enablement
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on project and client needs
• Bachelor’s degree
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Oracle database management (installation, patching, upgrades, backup/recovery, sizing, tuning, RAC, storage)
• Familiarity with Oracle hardware platforms, including Engineered Systems and Cloud Machines
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and methodologies
• Experience with data center migrations
• Experience with servers, infrastructure, platform sizing, and infrastructure cost reduction
• General knowledge of storage solutions (network storage capacity planning, SAN architecture/design)
• Experience with Java application architecture and development
• Infrastructure automation using DevOps scripting

WORK YOU’LL DO

• Cloud Architecture: Design Oracle cloud-based PaaS solutions, enabling both cloud and hybrid environments with a focus on performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and geographically distributed networks.
• Project Leadership: Plan and manage Cloud Strategy, Cloud Migration, Application Consolidation, and Database Consolidation projects using Oracle Cloud technologies.
• Assessment & Planning: Conduct cloud suitability assessments for applications and databases across large enterprise IT environments.
• Team Management: Lead project teams, manage resources, and provide technical guidance throughout delivery.
