Description
SAIC is currently seeking a motivated Oracle Database Developer to join our talented team supporting USTRANSCOM. This role will require strong skills in SQL (bulk collection, windowing functions, analytical SQL) and comfortability with design/development of relational databases.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of database experience.
  • Active secret clearance.
  • Current Security + or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
  • Oracle Certified Foundations Associate/Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate Certification strongly desired.
  • Strong understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) to query, manipulate, and update data within databases.
  • Ability to design and implement database structures (schemas) to efficiently store and access data.
  • Ability to identify and address data quality issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors
Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure performance efficiency.
  • Perform query tuning and database performance optimization.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and data processing.
  • Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
