Description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Oracle DevSecOps Engineer to join a growing team in support of a government agency. This position will be fully remote.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ORACLE DEVSECOPS ENGINEER INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud environments, with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    o Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
    o Agile tools (Jira, Confluence)
    o CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
    o Oracle OCI certification or equivalent hands-on experience
    o Familiarity with Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools (preferred)
    o Strong understanding of OCI concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic Groups, etc.)
    o Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm)
    o Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash)
    o Experience with cybersecurity tools (Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG Scanner)
    o Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Oracle Stacks)
    o Version control and branching strategies (Git, GitFlow, GitHub Flow)

o Knowledge of cloud architecture for high availability and scalability

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Support the operation and upkeep of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment across multiple environments.
  • Implement observability and resilience strategies across multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
  • Ensure all OCI deployments comply with security and regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and integrate new FedRAMP-compliant cloud services, applying best practices for identity and access management (IAM) and network security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud architecture best practices.
