Job Description
Role: Oracle Software Architect
Rate: $73.86 - $90.54/hour W2 dependent on qualifications
Salary Conversion: $165K
Location: Remote
Length: 6-9 month, contract for hire

POSITION SUMMARY:

The client is seeking an Oracle Software Architect to oversee their substantial and growing set of capabilities on their Oracle platforms, enabling operations, finance, HR, Document Management, and Order Management.
The Software Architect will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, technology teams, Enterprise Architecture, and other subject matter experts, to identify business requirements and develop technological solutions that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. The Software Architect also provides guidance and direction to technology teams on the best practices and standards for system architecture, design, and development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of IT experience specializing in Oracle technologies
  • Experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion implementations, including integrations with other systems like Salesforce.
  • Oracle EBS including Advanced Pricing, Supply Chain Management, Financials, Payables, iProcurement, Purchasing, and Contracts
  • Oracle HCM Fusion
  • Oracle WebCenter
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
  • Business architecture and how it supports business strategy and operations
  • Technology architecture including infrastructure, applications, data, and security
  • Emerging technologies and trends in the industry

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain the overall technology strategy for Oracle technologies.
  • Work and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
  • Identify and manage risks associated with technology initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to formulate technological strategies around our Oracle ecosystem that remains in alignment with the overarching technology and strategy roadmap for the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure alignment between other enterprise applications that are integrated into our Oracle solutions.
  • Define Data Models, Security Models, and governance processes.
  • Prepare and present ideas and influence discussions and decisions within the Architecture Review Board.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field—or a combination of years of experience and/or certifications in information technology
  • Experience leading significant technology projects, including strategy development and road mapping
  • Strong background in collaborating with business leaders for technology solutions integration and instituting technology standards
