Role Overview The Oracle EBS Techno/Functional Lead is a senior role within the TPICAP Technology Oracle EBS support team. The Oracle EBS Techno/Functional Lead role will join the Oracle EBS Support team alongside other Functional and Technical analysts in the Manila office and will provide guidance and leadership to the Manila team as well as providing the business with day to day support, solutions to problems and the introduction of new functionality. Reporting to the Oracle EBS Support Team manager, the Oracle EBS Techno/Functional Lead will provide expert support to their stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Procurement and IT whilst collaborating with other team members and IT specialists. The role requires a deep technical and functional understanding of the Oracle Financials modules as well as Purchasing and Projects. Attention to detail and pro-activeness are key traits of this role to ensure that delivery is on time and to a high quality. The role will also provide leadership and oversight to the Manila Oracle EBS team and will be the ‘on point’ person for the Manila team. Role Responsibilities Supporting EMEA time zone Provide leadership, guidance and oversight to the Oracle EBS team members in the Manila office. Work independently with key stakeholders to design efficient and effective integrations and customisations. Utilise AI tools to help accelerate build, code creation, documentation and adhoc applications Pro-actively work and co-ordinate with stakeholders both within and outside of team to achieve common goals Raise concerns or challenges on design and/or process with project managers or team leads Develop interface solutions for inbound and outbound dataflows as well as data migrations. Configuration of Oracle EBS in support of technical developments Configuration and support of workflow within Oracle EBS Creation and maintenance of PL/SQL packages Development and maintenance of OA framework Development of Oracle reports within the application Provide functional support for TPICAP’s Oracle E-Business Suite v 12.2.11 and help the support team deliver projects and initiatives Deliver first class support to the business community when responding to and resolving problem tickets Elicit and understand functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver software solutions Identify complex problems and review related information to evaluate and develop solutions Offer and provide support and assistance to colleagues and provide system knowledge sharing where appropriate Produce detailed and thorough documentation in relation to development processes and tasks Support the various banking platforms used within TPICAP Perform ad-hoc duties when required Experience / Competences Strong functional and technical understanding of the Oracle E-Business suite across Financials, Purchasing and Projects/OTL modules Line manager experience essential Excellent understanding of Finance process flows and double entry accounting principals 10 + years’ experience as Oracle EBS Technical/Functional Lead or Consultant Pro-active nature in approaching and remedying questions and issues raised to the team Experience of the full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery Working to tight deadlines within a project environment essential Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience in: iProc, iExp PO, AP, AR, GL, FA, PA, OTL Experience of More4apps, GL Wand, Hubble and ConfigSnapshot would be beneficial Experience of change projects/programmes preferably with some project management experience. Skills Highly competent technical skills in the following area: 10 + years SQL & PL/SQL Oracle report builder & form builder BI Publisher Workflow Alerts AME APEX Design and Build interfaces Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) Data migration (incl. data loaders and More4Apps) Setup migration Performance tuning Competent in the use of AI tooling Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education Part-Qualified Accountant (e.g AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA or through experience) Understanding of project management methodology MS Office expert user Ability to prioritise workload based on multiple business drivers Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and backlog management tools (e.g., JIRA) Ability to write clear and concise documentation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
