Oracle Fusion Functional Analyst

The Oracle Fusion Functional Analyst reports to the Oracle Support Manager and sits within the Finance Systems Team.
You will be assisting with the newly built Oracle Cloud Fusion system, transitioning it into a steady state, resolving end user issues, replicating bugs and working with a 3rd Party Managed Service. This role will be part of a team of 4 analysts.
This role will be remote first, with the expectation you come into the Chocolate factory office in Bristol once per month.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You’ll need a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Financial modules (Oracle fusion)
  • Experience with implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects is valuable, along with a strong understanding of finance processes.
  • Proficient in analysing requirements, configuring systems, change life cycle, testing, releases, conducting user training, and providing ongoing support is crucial.
  • Oracle certifications are a bonus.
  • Ability to liaise comfortably with key stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Work in collaboration with finance on their newly delivered Oracle Cloud Fusion system, to deliver high calibre system reports, analysis, and support to business needs are met.
  • Provide support services to the Cloud instance of Oracle Fusion which includes the following modules: General ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounting Hub, FCCS, EPM, OIC.
  • Provide investigation and resolution to incidents and defects related to the full end-to-end process, Oracle EBS modules and connected systems to the Finance domain, considering root cause resolution and scalability.
  • Replicate system issues in development environments and support with testing changes ensuring the changes pass acceptance testing.
  • Provide system administration, maintenance, interface management and support with control of Opening/Closure of ledgers during month end periods.
  • Raise continuous improvements to tackle high ticket counts.
  • Work with the 3rd Party support partners, using their ticket portals, to resolve issues.
  • Highlight major impacting issues to the Oracle Support Manager to ensure the business impact is managed.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is always delivered to end users.
