Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. MBA or Chartered Accountant or Bachelor’s in Finance/ Technology from reputed University with overall experience in Finance, Accounting and/ or Taxation
  2. Proficient in Oracle Fusion (experience of 4-7 years in Fusion & eBS combined) and/ or Oracle eBusiness Suite for Tax. Experience with China Golden Tax Adaptor via Baidwan/ Aisino
  3. Experience in project implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, test, go-live and support) with at least 2-3 end-to-end implementations of Oracle ERP for tax
  4. Client facing experience required i.e., experience in handling clients on day-to-day basis during requirement gathering to User Acceptance Testing phase
  5. Basic accounting knowledge
  6. Ability to understand client requirements, develop and suggest appropriate solution or workarounds in Oracle
  7. Able to work with Oracle support to flag/fix issues – raising SRs and conducting OWC to explain problems and discuss workarounds
  8. Proficient in preparing client-ready project deliverables i.e., requirement framework documents, key design decision documents, configuration documents, functional specification documents, test scripts and training guides
  9. Has knowledge of configuration migration through “Rapid Implementation Spreadsheet” and data migration through Oracle tools like ADFDi, Desktop Integrator, FBDi templates
    10.Proficient in planning work as per deadline and coordinating with the team to complete work within stipulated deadline
    11.Comfortable communicating with members from other workstreams and able to collaborate to discuss and test solutions which has cross-workstream dependencies
    12.Equipped with basic presentation skills, has an analytical approach to issues and able to analyze queries and respond to questions
    13.Superior verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities:

  1. Knowledgeable about the Oracle applications functionality, with experience in Oracle Tax, in Cloud and/or eBS
  2. Familiar with Oracle Cloud tools, templates and methods, and finance transformation delivery models (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
  3. Work as part of the project team to analyze the client’s tax and business requirements and build the optimal Oracle Tax design or supplement with the right mix of alternative technology solutions such as indirect tax determination engines, indirect tax compliance technology, or offline processes
  4. Work alongside the project team to assess the key tax touchpoints across the end-to-end business processes and address the client’s particular tax requirements
  5. Work with the project team to document new requirements, finalize system design, complete system integration testing and support user acceptance testing
  6. Able to think logically while solving problems and present clear recommendation to our clients as part of suggested resolution
  7. Work with Oracle Support to address system issues/ bugs and present a workable solution which addresses the client’s requirement
  8. Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets, achievements against plan etc.
  9. Participate in development and delivery of training sessions either to the client or internally across the team
    10.Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution
    11.Continually research current and emerging functionality (Oracle or others) and propose changes as part of Deloitte’s Oracle offering
