JOB DESCRIPTION

This is a remote position.
McBride has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle HCM Compensation Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of Compensation solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud. This role requires a strong background in Compensation module leadership, hands-on system configuration, and the ability to manage end-to-end project lifecycles from discovery through post-production support. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Compensation alongside Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Absence, and Talent Management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 6+ years in Oracle HCM Cloud implementations/support.
  • Strong expertise in Compensation, Core HR, Benefits, Absence, and Payroll.
  • Hands-on experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader (HSDL), Fast Formulas, and OTBI/BI Publisher reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end implementations and multiple project timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience conducting workshops and training sessions.
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Certifications in Compensation or related modules strongly preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience leading global rollouts with multi-country Compensation cycles.
  • Familiarity with Managed Services support models.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to guide technical teams on extracts, reports, and payroll integrations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business and IT functions, fostering positive stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and support of Oracle HCM Compensation including Merit, Bonus, and Equity cycles.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, analyze current HR processes, and design future-state Compensation solutions.
  • Configure Compensation plans, eligibility profiles, and business rules aligned to organizational needs.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure smooth integrations with Benefits, Payroll, and third-party carriers.
  • Develop documentation such as solution design, test cases, conversion strategy, and user training materials.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members (onsite and offshore) and manage cross-functional deliverables.
  • Oversee testing cycles (CRP, UAT, Pre-Prod), data conversion, and production cut-over activities.
  • Support quarterly upgrades, enhancements, and open enrollment activities, ensuring compliance with global and local regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Compensation processes, extracts, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize HR workflows and deliver business value through scalable HCM solutions.
