Description
Our client, a leading global healthcare organization, is seeking an Oracle Health (Cerner) Functional Lead to support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Health solutions across clinical and administrative environments. In this role, you will work closely with clinicians, hospital administrators, IT teams, and external partners to deliver secure, compliant, and efficient healthcare system solutions. This position requires hands-on experience with Oracle Health / Cerner Millennium and strong functional expertise in healthcare workflows. The selected candidate must be flexible to work in the client’s preferred time zone, which may include CET/EST. Job Requirements: Configure Oracle Health / Cerner applications, including clinical documentation, orders, workflows, and alerts Support implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements Work with technical teams on integrations, interfaces, and reporting Ensure integration with third-party healthcare systems Analyze healthcare workflows to identify gaps and improvement opportunities Support workflow standardization across departments or facilities Recommend system improvements aligned with best practices Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Support data validation and cutover planning Provide post-go-live support and stabilization Serve as the primary functional contact for clinical and business users Communicate system updates, risks, and progress clearly Support system modernization and workflow improvement initiatives Participate in project planning and status reporting Requirements 8–12 years of healthcare IT or Oracle Health / Cerner experience Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) Experience with at least 1–2 full lifecycle implementations Strong understanding of clinical, operational, or revenue cycle workflows Experience supporting production systems and upgrades Knowledge of healthcare data privacy and HIPAA compliance Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is required Experience working in pharmaceutical (Pharma) environments is highly preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience with Cerner Millennium modules (PowerChart, Orders, Revenue Cycle, etc.) Experience with reporting or analytics tools Experience in training or documentation
