Andersen is looking for an Oracle Infrastructure Engineer in Abu Dhabi for a digital transformation project with a UAE government entity. The role involves supporting infrastructure for digital solutions aimed at improving public services, operations, and citizen engagement
The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.
The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.
Technology stack: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Terraform, OCI CLI, Resource Manager, Bash, Python, Oracle Database, Linux/Unix, RMAN, Data Guard, Git, SVN, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable Oracle infrastructure on OCI and/or on-premises.
  • Providing and maintaining OCI compute instances, networking components, and storage volumes.
  • Supporting installation, configuration, and tuning of Oracle databases and middleware environments.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, shell scripts, and OCI Resource Manager.
  • Monitoring infrastructure performance, usage, and cost, and implementing optimization strategies.
  • Managing and configuring IAM roles, policies, and compartments to ensure secure access control.
  • Implementing and supporting backup, disaster recovery, and high availability configurations.
  • Collaborating with DBAs, DevOps, security, and application teams for integrated system delivery.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system performance, connectivity, or resource availability.
  • Maintaining documentation of infrastructure architecture, deployments, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring infrastructure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and Oracle best practices.
  • Staying updated with new OCI services, patches, and infrastructure advancements.
