Job Title: Oracle OFSAA Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proficient and experienced Oracle OFSAA (Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications) Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an Oracle OFSAA Consultant, you will be responsible for providing end-to-end solutions, implementation, and support related to Oracle OFSAA applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design customized solutions, and support the integration of OFSAA with existing systems. Your expertise in Oracle OFSAA will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct requirement analysis and gather business needs to design tailored Oracle OFSAA solutions.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders, such as business users, technical teams, and management, to ensure successful implementation and integration of OFSAA applications.
3. Customize Oracle OFSAA applications to align with client-specific requirements and configure financial models.
4. Perform data mapping, extraction, and transformation activities for effective data integration.
5. Develop and execute test cases to ensure the accuracy and performance of Oracle OFSAA solutions.
6. Provide training and support to end-users on OFSAA functionalities, reports, and data analysis.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle OFSAA applications and address any system discrepancies.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance Oracle OFSAA implementations accordingly.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient completion of projects and deliverables.
10. Assist in project planning, estimation, and documentation of technical specifications.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Oracle OFSAA Consultant or in a similar role.
3. Strong understanding of Oracle OFSAA modules, including Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Asset Liability Management (ALM), Liquidity Risk Management (LRM), and Profitability Management (PM).
4. In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and Oracle Database.
5. Experience in Oracle OFSAA installation, configuration, and data model customization.
6. Familiarity with risk and compliance frameworks in the financial industry.
7. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
10. Attention to detail and a commitment to deliver high-quality solutions.
11. Certification in Oracle OFSAA or related technologies is a plus.
12. Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., BASEL, Dodd-Frank, IFRS) would be advantageous.
13. Proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies and industry trends.
14. Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in banking or insurance.
15. Willingness to travel on-site to client locations as required.
