JOB DESCRIPTION

The client seeks an experienced Oracle PL/SQL/Apex Developer to support and modernize the Syndromic Surveillance (SS) module within the Georgia State Electronic Notifiable Disease Surveillance System (SendSS). The system is currently transitioning from PL/SQL to Oracle Apex. The developer will collaborate with the retiring legacy developer to understand, maintain, and enhance the existing module while redesigning functionality in the Apex framework.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years system/application development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years Oracle PL/SQL programming.
• 5+ years building web application front-ends with HTML, JavaScript, and JS frameworks.
• 5+ years full project lifecycle implementation of web-based systems.
• 5+ years with Oracle RDBMS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, sound judgment.
