Description

Responsibilities

Lead the assessment, planning, and execution of Oracle database migration to Oracle Exadata, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
Manage and optimise large-scale datasets for performance, scalability, and storage efficiency
Design and implement secure data obfuscation strategies for sensitive data during and post-migration
Configure and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication and migration support
Assess and manage database links (DB links) to ensure secure and reliable cross-database communication
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless integration with Azure-hosted services
Configure and tune Oracle Exadata for high performance, availability, and disaster recovery
Monitor and troubleshoot database performance using AWR, ASH, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
Document database architecture, migration plans, obfuscation logic, and operational procedures
