Job Description Responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) technical components to meet business requirements. This role focuses on the development of RICE objects, Oracle forms, reports, workflows, and PL/SQL-based solutions. The consultant ensures system stability, supports functional teams in resolving technical issues, and contributes to delivering enhancements, technical designs, and complex customizations across Oracle Financials and Procurement modules. Technical Responsibilities: Develop and maintain RICE components including reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions. Customize and support Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflows, Alerts, and Personalizations. Create APIs, Procedures, Packages, Functions, and SQL/PLSQL programs to support system processes. Build and maintain database objects such as tables, views, sequences, constraints, and indexes. Develop and expose PL/SQL packages as REST services when required. Perform technical troubleshooting, performance tuning, and issue resolution across Oracle ERP. Support integration efforts involving Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) when needed. Ensure all development meets organizational coding standards and best practices. Functional & Operational Responsibilities: Work with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs. Support Oracle Financials and Procurement modules from a backend and technical perspective. Provide detailed technical documentation, including technical specifications and test cases. Participate in SIT, UAT, and production deployment cycles. Support incident management, problem resolution, and change requests. Ensure system security and proper migration through controlled environments. Project & Collaboration Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical enhancements and projects. Provide effort estimations for technical tasks and support planning activities. Assist with root cause analysis on recurring issues and propose long-term fixes. Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and consistency. Deliver technical knowledge transfer to internal IT teams when needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Master’s degree or relevant professional certification Additional Information Experience: 4+ years of experience in Oracle Applications and OIC integrations Skills & Abilities: Expert in Oracle ERP R12.x and Oracle E-Business support Expert in customizing and developing Oracle forms and reports Expert in RICE components, Oracle Interface tables in financial and procurement modules Expert in Oracle Workflows, Personalizations, and Oracle Alerts Strong programming experience in creating Procedures, APIs, Packages, Functions, Triggers, views, collections, nested tables and arrays, records, sequences, constraints, and other database objects using SQL and PL/SQL Hands-On development of packages and functions using SQL/PLSQL and exposing them as REST Strong knowledge of Oracle development tools, some e-Business application functionality, system administration, database structure, and knowledge of multi-Org architecture. Must have good experience translating business requirements and design into technical solutions Ability to research, learn, troubleshoot, and support complex system customizations The ability to multitask and prioritize across concurrent workloads may be required. Knowledge of Oracle R12 ideal with functional knowledge of core Oracle EBS Modules including Financials and Procurement Advantage: Web Adi, Oracle Integration Cloud, OA Framework, and customization and Personalization of JSP pages, APEX Experience building integration, unit testing of integration components in OIC using REST/SOAP Services.
