ORACLE TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Oracle Techno Functional Consultant for an 18-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

ORACLE TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Oracle Techno Functional Consultant will support the Procurement team by enhancing and modifying complex information systems to meet business and user needs. This role involves acting as a liaison between business units and Technology & Operations, providing expertise to manage and deliver on operational goals.

ORACLE TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience with Oracle Financials including GL, AP, FA, and TCA modules.
  • Proficient in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, SQL & PL/SQL, and XML Publisher.
  • Skilled in CEMLI’s to extend application functionality as per business needs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with facilitation experience.

ORACLE TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with COUPA P2P Modules such as Procure-to-Invoice and Expenses.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, and quantification methodologies.
  • Exhibits experience in interviewing, data modeling, business process modeling, and user interface design.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong coordination with a team.
Responsibilities
  • Make recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder technology needs.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of technology solutions to the assigned business/group.
  • Support production, system enhancements, product upgrades, and development within the business.
  • Align business and technology needs with the IT transformation agenda.
  • Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations for strategic problems.
  • Track metrics and milestones, recommending resolutions and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Research and document sponsor/stakeholder needs in accordance with Project Life Cycle methodology.
