REQUIREMENTS

  • Sales experience with Oracle Technology (On-premise and Cloud), preferably across various Oracle verticals, including both Public and Private sectors
  • Previous experience and understanding of Oracle Technology, including IaaS, PaaS, and On-Premise
  • Energetic, with a strong drive to succeed and grow the sales pipeline
  • Ability to consider and incorporate advice and feedback to continually develop and improve
  • Capacity to communicate technical information to non-technical customers in a way that is easy to understand
  • Adaptability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong telephone and presentation skills, along with the ability to engage with clients at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalCapability to build long-lasting and strong client relationships based on professionalism and trust

Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

We’re looking for an Oracle Technology Sales Manager with experience of working in the Oracle marketplace, reporting to our CRO. You’ll be responsible for nurturing and closing the opportunities throughout the entire sales process.
You’ll be part of the wider Business Development team and will be responsible for growing a pipeline of relevant opportunities and will undertake demand generation, via the telephone, social media, events, and webinars.
You’ll be expected to build trusted relationships with key personnel within customer and partner organisations, and to build market intelligence in relation to what will be happening and when to enable new business to be closed in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities with the appropriate decision-makers
  • Initiating outbound telephone, email, and social contact with potential customers
  • Qualifying and closing sales appointments with potential customers
  • Accurately updating the internal CRM, providing accurate synopses of qualified sales appointments and supplying pre-meeting documents
  • Use all available means to perform effective research in the initial development and ongoing maintenance of potential customers
  • Able to work towards and exceed targets with a competitive spirit, whilst upholding quality, professionalism, integrity, and teamwork
  • Be able to communicate your progress to clients and colleagues effectively on weekly update calls and regular reviews
  • Organise and attend client-facing presentations and internal meetings
  • Attend events (trade shows, user group meetings, Oracle events etc.)
  • Provide weekly reports to the Business Development team
  • Growth of the Technology sales space for Namos
