Description

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle XStore POS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in implementing, customizing, and supporting Oracle’s retail suite, particularly Oracle XStore. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in Oracle technologies, Core Java, SQL, and XML, combined with a strong functional understanding of POS Systems, retail operations to provide Support and implementation to meet diverse client business needs. Conduct functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide resolutions to ensure smooth operations of XStore and POS applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions. Stay updated with the latest Oracle releases, features, and best practices to continuously improve system functionality and performance. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute on assigned deliverables.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 4+ years of Relevant Information Technology experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or City of Industry, CA, or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. This position may require travel within the US.

  • 4+ years of technical experience in Oracle Retail implementation/ upgrade / Support projects working with Oracle Retail Suite (XStore, XStore Office, ORPOS, Xcenter), ReSA and related payment modules.
  • Knowledge of the broader Oracle Retail cloud infrastructure and related modules (e.g., ReSA, OROB,) and integration knowledge of xstore-eftlink and hardware integration (printers, pinpads)
  • Proficiency in Oracle XStore application configuration, customization, and implementation.
  • Familiarity with retail business processes and workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge on Oracle Retail Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Retail XStore Office Cloud Service is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
  • Experience in Java, SQL, and XML and SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database for data management and basics of spring
  • Oracle Retail or Java-related certifications is a plus
  • Produce and maintain Technical Process Flows, other, related design, and as-built documentation in support of the application architecture
  • Experience with SVN, GIT
