Description: Erie County Medical Center Corp is an advanced medical center located in Buffalo, NY providing coverage for the eight (8) counties of Western New York, Southern Ontario and Northern PA. ECMCC is verified by ACOS and NYSDOH as a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center with 573 inpatient beds. The medical staff includes over 900 providers representing primary care and over 35 specialty services. ECMCC is the major teaching hospital for the University of Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine with 15 residency and 7 fellowship training programs on campus. Erie County Medical Center is seeking an Oral Surgeon for this hospital-based position?who wishes to work in a collegial environment based on collaboration, mutual respect, trust, and cooperation. The ECMC Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) Service Line provides the full complement of oral surgeries – services to patients that are referred from the primary care physicians in our community, patients referred from neighboring communities, and patients from the hospital’s Emergency and Trauma Departments. ECMC has 16 ORs: 12 in the main hospital and 4 located in the Ambulatory Surgery Center on the hospital campus. Unparalleled support for our providers- We have an entire team ready to support you. We offer a Practice Operations Team of professionals to assist you with all your electronic health record needs, technology set up, staff recruitment training and human resources support. This allows you to do what you do best-care for your patients. Quality/Clinical support- Our Quality Management team is composed of expert nurses and pharmacists who are working behind the scenes to ensure the care and tests you order for your patients are completed and meet HEDIS and PCMH requirements. Other responsibilities include: Continued development of strong clinical practice Resident and medical student education w/ opportunities for research Academic appointment available through the Jacobs School of Medicine, University of Buffalo. Schedule: Full-time, M-F. Call rotation as needed. Qualifications: MD or DO, BC/BE by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS). Must possess ability to cover clinical breadth of the OMFS service and trauma call. Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range $475,000-$625,000* RVU productivity in addition Sign on bonus and relocation assistance available Paid PTO and holidays CME allowance and paid days off Health and retirement benefits Employer paid occurrence-based malpractice insurance? *Base rate is not inclusive of productivity and quality incentives that service line specific positions may qualify for in their department. Signing, retention and relocation bonuses may also be available and would also be in addition to base salary compensation. The pay range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of posting.
