Description

We are looking for a motivated co-op student to join our Home Networking team as an Orbi Software Test Engineer Co-op. In this role, you will be able to gain hands-on experience and get the chance to learn from industry professionals. You will be working in a temporary full-time position at our Richmond, BC office. This role requires working on-site five days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Attention to detail and technical curiosity
  • Experience in implementing moderate to complex test cases
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Software test development, programming, or scripting experience
  • Basic understanding of software revision control, preferably with git
  • Knowledge of data communication, networking, and protocols
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in writing and debugging programs or scripts, preferably in Python. Bonus points for C/C++. Lua or Linux shell scripting, Playwright or Selenium experiences
  • Basic understanding on software development & collaboration tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence, and GitHub

Responsibilities
