ICR has opportunities available for experienced and motivated Orbital Analyst

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI access.
  • Demonstrated experience with orbit determination and astrodynamics techniques
  • Familiarity with standard astrodynamics tools including STK/Astrogator and/or MATLAB
  • Experience with Linux operating system
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving skills.
  • Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems.
    Salary Range: $78,853 - $236,579

Responsibilities
  • Perform orbit determination, ephemeris generation, orbital position uncertainty estimates
  • Generate simulations to validate accuracy of various orbital simulations and orbit determination techniques
  • Development in Python, Shell Scripting
  • Contribute to development of new and improved mission capabilities
  • Engage customers for product demonstrations and analysis products and the ability to effectively communicate results
