JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Order Desk Representative to support body shops, walk-in clients, and our sales team with paint and parts orders. In this fast-paced role, you’ll process orders, respond to inquiries, and provide product support while collaborating with warehouse, sales, and admin teams. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and industry experience are key to success in this position.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of previous order desk / customer service / inside sales experience in an automotive / industrial / parts setting
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Solid computer skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Explorer
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Above average communication skills. Able to deal with customers, salespeople, vendors and warehouse staff
• Sound problem solving abilities, must be able to think on your feet and handle difficult situations
• Deals effectively and professionally with issues that arise
• Good organizational & multi-tasking skills
• Customer service focused
• Self-starter, self motivated
• Able to work well in a team environment and demonstrate respect for co-workers

• Assist body shops / collision repair facilities and walk in clientele with orders for paint (toners, clears, hardeners, primers, reducers, etc.) and paint related materials (i.e. sandpaper, putties, adhesives, masking equipment, detail supplies, safety items, tools, etc.)
• Manage multiple incoming calls, emails, and online orders and requests
• Assist salespeople with pricing, part numbers, quotes, etc.
• Work closely with warehouse, sales, technical, and admin staff
• Participate in in-house training as offered as well as continuous self-study of product offering to expand product knowledge
• Any other duties as required or assigned
