Position Title: Order Desk Representative – Government Accounts, Bilingual Quebecois French & English
Company & Department: DCI – FFF Customer Service
Location: 800, rue De La Gauchetière Ouest - 4ème étage, Montréal, Québec H5A 1K3

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Exposure to sales experience
  • Good command of English and French
  • Good communication skills to include written and verbal in French and English
  • Computer skills intermediate level Microsoft Office Applications
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member
  • Ability to stay highly organized, to multi task and prioritize to optimize results
  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work flexible hours to meet specific deadlines
  • Good understanding of supply chain operations logistics or distribution processes
  • Experience supporting government or institutional clients

Responsibilities
  • Generate orders to customers’ specifications and terms (e.g. Government or Enterprise Accounts) by providing product and technical information in a timely manner.
  • Accurately process customer transactions, review order details against contract requirements (pricing, product codes, delivery terms).
  • Understand and monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to clients while focusing on customers needs
  • Coordinate with inventory, fulfillment, and shipping outlets to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Ensure adherence to Federal and Provincial guidelines
  • Establish and maintain a professional business environment while enforcing company policy and procedure, adhering to statement of work promptly and precisely.
  • Providing superior customer service and after sales support.
  • Assist with reporting audits and quality control as required
  • Assist in account collections and maintenance along with DCI finance team when your relationship with customer is required.
  • Deal with conflict resolution with emphasis on customer retention and assist with resolution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.
  • Set up and maintain record keeping of all backup documents, emails, purchase orders, written notes for each customer and each order or wale replacement and return.
