Description Position Summary: Interact with customers via email or phone. Responsible for entering, planning, and confirming customer purchase orders. Responsibilities: Review and accurately enter and purchase orders in ERP system. Plan ERP work orders in conjunction with customer supplied purchase orders. Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Shipping Departments, and customers to ensure accuracy of purchase orders, availability of product and timely processing. Maintain customer data in ERP system. Resolve purchase order issues using the ERP system, e-mail exchanges, and skills of appropriate company personnel. Interact daily with customers on the phone and via email to ensure accuracy of orders. Support administrative staff in a variety of general office and clerical tasks. Maintaining customer spreadsheets; updating open order reports. Process supplier network requests from customers using their database. Process weekly forecasts. Process catch ups & restarts correctly as they are needed and distribute them back to production in a timely manner. Determine what needs to be released. Create all traveler packages, pull prints and deliver to production in a timely manner. Requirements Required Skills: Ability to prioritize and multi-task for maximum efficiency without sacrificing accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional and pleasant phone manner to service incoming and outgoing calls. Proficiency in use of computers and software. Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to work well with others. Desired Skills: Experience entering purchase orders within a manufacturing environment. Prior customer service experience. Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
