SUMMARY This part-time position is responsible for data entry, prescription processing, monitoring and prioritizing the medication dispensing workflow, and handling rejected claims/third-party adjudication. The technician ensures timely order processing based on delivery timelines while providing excellent customer service via phone and electronic communication. The ideal candidate has strong experience in hospice and/or long-term care (LTC) pharmacy processing and is highly proficient in QS1 and Docutrack. Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and collaboration are essential. SCHEDULE Onsite at our Riverside Office, Part-time about 16 hours per week; shift includes working on Monday and Friday afternoon/evenings, possibly Saturdays in near future.   ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Process and bill prescriptions and medical supplies * Perform administrative and record-keeping tasks as assigned * Handle third-party adjudication * Coordinate closely with Select dispatch team * Provide excellent customer service and support * Other duties as assigned by the supervisor MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Active Pharmacy Technician license that is in good standing * 2 years of pharmacy processing experience (LTC experience is preferred) * Proficiency in QS1 and Docutrack software systems * Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute (WPM) with accuracy * Knowledgeable of medication dispensing processes under the physician dispensing protocol in accordance with state and federal regulations * Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills * Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality * High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry * Ability to communicate professionally with providers, patients, and team members * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and collaboratively * Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office 365 * Spoken and written fluency in English * Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to perform essential office tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting, frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment; and occasional lifting or carrying of up to 25 pounds.
