Description
Quilt's company mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. To stop climate change, over 80M US homes need to transition from combustion to efficient, electric heat pumps over the coming decades. We believe for this to happen the world needs fantastic products that are easy and desirable to purchase. Today's heat pumps lack great design, make limited use of software, and are difficult and stressful to adopt. We are building a next generation, beautifully designed, smart home heating and cooling system that is 10x better than what is on the market today. Role Quilt is hiring a part-time Order Fulfillment Coordinator to keep our products moving to customers on time across North America. You'll be the connective tissue between our 3PL warehouse partners, internal teams, and customers — making sure orders ship on schedule, inventory is accurately tracked, and any issues are resolved quickly. This is a part-time, contract position (~20 hours/week) with potential to convert to a full-time position. Primary Responsibilities Fulfill customer orders on time through 3PL partners in the US (Phoenix, AZ & Hayward, CA) and Canada (Toronto), monitoring shipments and ensuring on-time delivery Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, customer service) to resolve logistics issues and fulfill customer needs Report on inventory levels across warehouses What we’re looking for 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or order fulfillment Familiarity with 3PL operations and shipment tracking Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Responsive communicator who can keep multiple stakeholders informed Customer service mindset — you take ownership of issues until they're resolved Comfortable working with spreadsheets and inventory management tools Ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying aligned with the team Experience with international shipping or freight forwarding is a plus Working hours & location Approximately 20 hours per week Every day Monday through Friday, preferably between 9am-1pm Pacific Time On-site in the office in Redwood City, CA on Mondays, Tuesday & Thursdays; remote OK on Wednesdays and Fridays Compensation Expected hourly rate of $25–$35, depending on experience. There is potential to convert to a full-time role with salary, equity, and benefits. About Quilt At Quilt, we’re on a mission to make clean, efficient heating and cooling accessible to everyone — and we know that heat pumps can play a big role in creating healthier, more climate-resilient homes. But the reality is, climate change and outdated energy systems don’t impact everyone equally. That’s why we’re building a diverse, inclusive team — because we believe the best solutions come from people with different lived experiences and perspectives. We welcome teammates of all races, ethnicities, genders, identities, abilities, and backgrounds, and we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels empowered to shape the future of climate tech. Need accommodations during the hiring process? No problem — just let us know. We’re here to support you. (accessibility@quilt.com)
