Description

TCW Equipment is a small company that specializes in equipment and supplies for wineries, breweries, and distilleries. We have a robust eCommerce site and we are looking for a highly proficient person to assist in facilitating order entry, customer communication, and order fulfillment. This position is at the heart of all of our customer orders, often referred to as the “air traffic controller”. We’re looking for someone who is meticulous in their methodologies, highly productive, and extremely organized.
By virtue of being a small company, we are looking for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats in addition to entering orders. In addition to the qualities above, the ideal candidate will be a go-getter, quick on their feet, quick learner, have lots of energy, great attitude, be computer proficient, and be a good fit with our team.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and enter orders from our website, in-person, and via phone
  • Process payments and send invoices
  • Welcome will-call customers and process their orders/payments
  • Coordinate freight quotations
  • Communicate with customers to confirm orders and provide updates
  • Utilize systems to track and update orders
  • Prioritize “rush” orders
  • Provide backup support to shipping & receiving colleagues to pack and ship packages as needed.
  • Keep the office organized.
  • Help with customer support/answer phone calls
  • Open, organize, and respond to snail mail that arrives.
  • Respond to emails on behalf of the company.
  • Organize phone calls and scheduling.
  • Anything else that might come up in a small business.
